Costa Rica Road Trip
Costa Rica ist ein unglaublich schönes Land mit einer sehr grossen Tiervielfalt. Es war schon immer ein Traum von mir, Costa Rica einmal zu sehen und diese Artenvielfalt fotografisch festzuhalten. Im Nachhinein bin ich etwas Zwiegestalten, was die Tierfotografieszene in Costa Rica betrifft. In diesem Land wird alles getan, damit jeder Fotograf zu seinen besten Bildern kommt. Angefangen von Fröschen, die in Plastiktüten gefangen werden, oder Schlangen welche in Terrarien gehalten werden, um sie dann den Touristen auf einem ausgewählten Ast perfekt in position zu setzen. Es gibt aber auch Orte wo man die Tiere ganz natürlich beobachten kann. Bei Fragen gebe ich gerne persönlich Auskunft über die einzelnen Orte.
Costa Rica is an incredibly beautiful country with a huge variety of animals. It has always been a dream of mine to see Costa Rica and capture this biodiversity. In hindsight, I’m a bit dubious about the wildlife photography scene in Costa Rica. In this country, everything is done to ensure that every photographer gets their best pictures. There are many good but also many bad examples. From frogs that are caught in plastic bags, or snakes in a terrarium to present them perfectly to tourists on a selected branch put in perfect position. But there are also places where you can observe the animals naturally. If you have any questions, I will be happy to give you personalised information about the individual places.
